The production of RDF from different waste streams is a specialty for which Ebhys has many references with a dozen of installations completed.
The sourced flows generally have a high valorization potential but their preparation by pre-sorting or drying can also increase their calorific value or simply regulate it.
The sectors concerned are mainly cement plants in nozzles or precalcinators, but the recent development of boiler plants in France now makes it possible to propose simpler and more productive process schemes for larger volumes.
The processes developed in these lines generally use grinding, ballistic or aeraulic separation and granulation technologies, but the increasingly strong constraints on the quality and regularity of product flows are driving the integration of optical recognition technologies. EBHYS has developed several processes that allow the control of product flows as well as the control of risks and nuisances generated by this type of process.
The presence of crushed combustible materials in sometimes fine granulometries, generates risks of explosion or at least fire as well as nuisance in terms of dust, mainly at the crushing or loading stations. The technologies developed by EBHYS in these areas offer improved safety and working conditions on these lines.
